One of our most popular courses, this stimulating and highly interactive day will look at the integration of Estill Voice Training into contemporary and traditional singing teaching approaches, addressing common vocabulary and practical exercises.

The day will focus on the most common problems encountered in teaching, both in the home studio, conservatoire and college, individual and group lessons.

Analysis of the causes and solutions for commonly encountered vocal difficulties will be addressed, demonstrating the unique advantages that Estill Voice Training can bring in both identifying and solving specific vocal problems.

The day will include:

  • Brief overview of Estill Voice Training
  • Common problems and traditional answers vs. the Estill approach
  • Extending range without pushing – high and low
  • A new approach to developing control of dynamics
  • Breathing – simple and effective strategies based on function
  • How to deal with tension

Suitable for: People new to the Estill Voice Training; those familiar with EVT, looking for clarification and consolidation; singers and teachers; students and professionals.

Suitable For: For those new to the Estill Voice Training and those with experience; anyone working with the voice whatever background or pedagogy - SLTs, singing teachers, professional singers, students and amateurs; those new to singing - voice, speech & drama teachers; actors. Suitable for all styles of singing.

Cancellation Policy:

In the event that a participant wishes to cancel their place on the course they are entitled to the following refund:

4 weeks or more = 90% refund

Between 4 -1 weeks = 25% refund

From 1 week to the day of event = no refund (under any circumstances, including illness)

Should The Voice Explained cancel a course, a full refund will be offered.
