Advanced Figures & Voice Qualities Course

I am delighted to once again offer our uniquely designed, bespoke Advanced Course which introduces a range of genre specific Advanced Voice Quality permutations. Since first introduced 14 years ago, this course has become the workshop of choice for performers and teachers looking to develop their Estill application beyond the Six Voice Qualities.

Participants need to have completed two Levels 1&2 in order to take part.

Over three days, we focus on complex Figure & Voice Quality combinations that give the performer access to a range of different vocal colours and sounds that are essential to interpretation, artistic choice and expression. We will address the requirements of different genres from musical theatre, classical, rock and pop. Participants will therefore need a high level of independent control and understanding of both the Figures and Voice Qualities. We will address, among other subjects, the extension of qualities beyond their natural range, common quality combinations in different genres (including musical theatre and opera) as well as a special course dedicated to Diction.
