There are few topics as contentious or as obscure as breathing and support. Why exactly they are important, how to train the student and what the precise benefits are, remain largely unclear for many teachers and singers. This day will set out to provide precise definitions based on physiology and vocal function. Ed will also bring his ultra-sound equipment so that we can observe abdominal activity, both the helpful and unhelpful varieties.
