Overview

The Estill Model has a unique role to play in the training, development and rehearsal of choirs, both professional and keen amateur.

Many choir leaders are looking for more effective ways to develop a better sound from their choir but need help with vocabulary and technical exercises that actually work. This day will introduce established Estill principles that can help with a range of common problems.

The day will include:

•   Group warm ups

•   Tuning

•   Playing with dynamics and vocal colours

•   Consistency and variety

•   Balancing tone and extending range

•   Diction

•   Short masterclass
